처음에는 대시보드의 모든 버튼을 직접 조작해야 하는 복잡한 게임일 줄 알았는데, 실제로는 대부분 스로틀과 브레이크만 다루는 방식이라 생각보다 진입 장벽이 낮았다. 자동차처럼 도로 위를 자유롭게 움직이는 게 아니라 선로 위를 달리는 구조이다 보니 조작 인터페이스는 단순한 편이고, 대신 플랫폼 위치에 정확히 맞춰 정차하는 것이 의외로 어렵다. 주행 중에는 비교적 한가롭게 풍경을 보며 멍 때리게 되는데, 그러다 감속 타이밍을 놓치는 경우가 종종 생긴다....

I had the itch to play a train sim. Saw TSW6 was on discount. Played it for 36 mins and decided it was bad. Refunded it. Fortunately this came out a few days later. Used the refund to pay for this. Highly recommend. Graphically stunning, ran on Linux first try no issues.

현재 가장 인기있는 철도시뮬 게임인 트레인 심 월드랑 비교하자면, 트심은 워 썬더 같고 이 게임은 월탱같다. 트심은 조작감이 굉장히 무거운데 반해 이 게임은 상당히 가벼운 느낌이 있다. 실제 열차의 가속력과 제동력이 반영되었는지는 모르겠다. 그리고 트심은 배경이 구린 반면에 이 게임은 배경이 정말정말 예쁘다.
